This is the last weekend to watch free winter fireworks in Old Montreal

If you didn’t get a chance to check out the New Year’s Eve fireworks in the Old Port, you’ll get another chance this weekend to check out a sky-lit display.

Although it won’t have the same flare as ringing in the new year, this is the final weekend to cozy up at the Natrel Skating Rink and watch free fireworks.

The fireworks display is free to attend but access to the rink has varying costs. For skaters aged 12 years and older the cost will be $7.83, while skaters aged six to 12 years will pay $5.22 and mini-gliders under the age of six can skate for free.

An $18 discount will also be available for family-sized groups of skaters.

La Grande Roue de MontrealĀ might also be the perfect vantage point to take in the show and a great spot to nab some Instagram pics.
