14 of Quebec's national parks are offering FREE admission January 25

January might be time to get out and explore some of Quebec’s national parks.

As part of Sépaq’s fourth annual ‘Winter Day,’ 14 of the province’s national parks will be open to the public, free of charge.

Sépaq, the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec, is the agency of the Government of Quebec that manages parks and wildlife reserves.

Along with the freebie admission, a complimentary daily ski pass at seven Sépaq cross-country skiing centres will be given out as well as access to snowshoeing trails and equipment on loan to test out.

While specific locations haven’t been ironed out yet, the Sépaq website says they will “open their doors to the public absolutely free of charge and offer all sorts of outdoor activities guaranteed to warm up even those who always feel chilled to the bone.”
