Zombies and ghouls take over La Ronde for Fright Fest next month

As if La Ronde’s wild rides aren’t scary enough, they’ve added some ghouls, zombies and witches to next month’s calendar to give thrill-seekers some added jolts at Quebec’s biggest amusement park.

Fright Fest returns for select days in October, it’s a spooky time as costumed monsters take over the park at night.

The park will offer a wide variety of places to get your scare on including new haunted houses, scare zones, frightening mazes and themed rides.

Park-goers are warned that actors dressed in frightening costumes will lurk throughout La Ronde’s grounds, waiting to pop out and scare anyone at any time.

New to this year’s Fright Fest is a haunted maze where guests will be blindsided by darkness as they struggle through a labyrinth, not knowing what’s around the next corner. The “Cursed Farm” is new this year as well, a sinister family farmhouse where scarecrows rule.

Halloween-themed shows include “The Taxidermist” and “Chainsaw Guys.”

Already known for their pulse-pounding roller coasters, the rides will be ramped up for Fright Fest.

Le Vampire will toss its guests through loops, hoops and twists while decorated with, you guessed it, vampires. Le Demon will unpredictably spin you upside down to a killer Halloween music soundtrack and the tallest two-track wooden roller coaster in the world, Le Monstre will scare you even more than the zombies will.
