Toronto vegan chain Kupfert & Kim is expanding into Montreal

Good news for meatless and wheatless eaters in Montreal! Toronto chain Kupfert & Kim is moving in.
The location coming soon to 417 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest is the first outside of Ontario for the restaurant named for partners Mark Kupfert and Ji-Hae Kim. The duo, along with co-owner Daniel Suss, already operate half a dozen K&K outposts in Toronto along with a casual sit-down spin-off concept called Hello 123.
With one exception – an above-ground location on Spadina which offers seating, cocktails, and brunch – Kupfert & Kim has earned its reputation as a chain of quick-service counters, mainly situated in Toronto’s underground PATH system that snakes through the Financial District.
Offering a fresh take on food court fare, the concept has found a loyal following for its menu of super colourful, minimally-processed, plant-based and gluten-free fare.

A menu posted online offers a peek at what Montrealers can look forward to: K&K’s signature line-up of all-day dishes includes breakfasts (smoothie bowls, congee, waffles) and hearty lunch and dinner options like cauliflower tahini bowls and tempeh bean chili… not to mention smoothies and espresso.
