If your power got zapped this afternoon, you weren’t alone.
Hydro-Québec confirmed that “about 60,000” people are without power on the island of Montreal.
The province’s utility company says that “emergency work” was necessary in the borough of Hampstead.

As a result, Hampstead, Côte Saint-Luc, and NDG have been blacked out.
