How to watch and stream the UEFA Champions League in Canada

Feb 16 2021, 9:22 pm

The first leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League will begin today, with the first two matches starting at 3 pm ET / 12 pm PT. Barcelona faces Paris Saint Germain (PSG) while RB Leipzig will take on Liverpool.

The only way to watch UEFA Champions League games in Canada is on DAZN. The sports streaming service also exclusively broadcasts the Premier League, UEFA Europa League, and Serie A in Canada.

Since 2018, DAZN has had the exclusive Canadian rights to the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, replacing TSN who were the primary broadcaster up until then.

If you haven’t used DAZN before, you can sign up for a one-month free trial. After the one month free trial, you’ll be charged $20 CAD per month or $150 CAD for a year.

Last year, Alphonso Davies became the first Canadian international men’s player to win the Champions League, doing so with Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich is currently favoured to repeat, with Manchester City and Liverpool given the next highest odds to win. If Bayern wins, they would become the team’s first back-to-back Champions League title winners since 1975-76.
