Canada Dry Ginger Ale is involved in a proposed Quebec class action settlement that could reimburse individual consumers up to $7.50.

The case alleges that Canada Dry used or published certain labelling and advertising material that contained false or misleading information regarding the ingredients of Canada Dry Ginger Ale soft drinks.

According to the Notice of Settlement Approval Hearing from LPC Avocat Inc., all Quebec consumers who purchased Canada Dry Ginger Ale products marketed as ā€œMade from Real Gingerā€ or ā€œFait Ć  partir de vrai gingembreā€ any time between January 14, 2016, and November 11, 2020, could be eligible for the reimbursement.

Quebecers seeking compensation under the proposed terms are being asked to provide their email address through the website by January 15.

An approval hearing for the proposed settlement is scheduled to take place with the Quebec Superior Court on March 16.
