Old Montreal spot dishing out free General Tao chicken next week

Old Montreal’s Jiao Dim Sum Bar is getting in the spirit of giving this holiday season.

Actually.

Jiao is giving away complimentary boxes of their general jiao chicken on Tuesday, December 22, from a takeout window at their restaurant on Notre-Dame Street Ouest.

“We miss you and hope this spreads a little holiday cheer to all those in need,” reads the restaurant’s Instagram post.

The free meal offer runs from 12 pm to 5 pm, and anyone is urged to “swing by” to grab a free box.

No purchase is necessary for the tasty treat, and only one box will be given per customer because, don’t be an Ebenezer Scrooge.
