A trio of Montreal graffiti and mural artists have contributed to the worldwide movement spurred by the May 25 death of George Floyd.

The mural, dubbed “Say My Name” is located on Rue Grand Trunk in Pointe-Saint-Charles and was created by artist Tasia Valliant, muralist Jenna Schwartz, and etcher Patman.

The spray painted mural took five hours to come together and uses calming colours to make it look peaceful, according to Schwartz, as well as distinct facial features to make it recognizable for people walking by.

Schwartz captioned a photo on her Instagram with the phrase, “Let the art speak for itself.”

Besides checking out the mural for yourself, visit the artist’s Instagram pages for more gorgeous artwork.
