A magical 'garden dome' pop-up dinner is coming to Montreal (PHOTOS)

You can’t really say you’ve dome done it all until you’ve eaten a three-course dinner in a terrarium-dome under the stars.

Dinner With a View, a travelling pop-up dinner service, offers guests the chance to eat a three-course meal prepared by Chef Renè Rodriguez, right under Old Montreal’s La Grande Roue.

The luxurious experience takes place in a terrarium, an encapsulation of an ecosystem; each corresponding to a different region of the earth’s terroir: tundra, tropical, grasslands, arid and boreal forest.

“The spaces are designed using resplendent materials such as live flora, luxurious textiles and elegant illumination,” according to the Dinner With a View website.

The menu includes meat, vegetarian and vegan options and while the dinner and dome reservation can run a bit steep, the views and photo opportunities will be worth it.

The pop-up dates run from April 16 to May 18 and the website urges that limited quantities are available – these domes go quickly.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 19.
