Jun 8 2017, 10:30 pm

As if the long weekend could get any better, it was recently confirmed that the massive cake served to Montrealers at the end of the Montreal Canada Day Parade is coming back in 2017!

The vanilla cake measures 1.22 meters wide by 2.44 meters long, otherwise known as 4 feet by 8 feet, and is expected to serve up to 2,500 people.

The cake will be served in celebration of Canada, and as per usual, will be covered in red and white icing.

The festive treat will be given out in Place du Canada just as the parade is wrapping up between 1:30 pm and 2 pm.

If you want to be one of the 2,500 people to get a free slice of this delicious cake, be sure to get there early!

In addition to cake, Place du Canada will have free inflatable games set up for kids. There will also be free water on site.
