Quebec confirmed 226 new coronavirus cases Saturday morning, bringing the province’s total case count to 52,624.
That’s even less than the 255 new cases reported Friday.
There have also been 35 more coronavirus deaths in the last day, bringing Quebec’s death toll to 4,970.
The number of recoveries is also increasing, with 18,412 people now considered clear of their infections.
There are 981 people in hospital with coronavirus infections in Quebec, with 129 of those in intensive care.
