Get splashed with colour all weekend at this Montreal celebration

Jul 21 2017, 8:04 pm

Yet another event in celebration of the city’s 375th anniversary, The Colour of Time is taking over Sainte Catherine Street East this weekend.

The Colour of Time is inspired by the Hindu celebration of Holi and encourages onlookers to “move to the beat alongside musicians and dancers in a joyous shower of colourful powders.”

At the helm of this project is French dance troupe, ARTONIK, who will lead the crowd with rhythmic beats and hypnotic choreography as colourful powders fill the air to create one mesmerizing scene.

If you’re worried about the safety of this event, don’t be! The colour pouches are made of non-coloured and non-toxic flour.
