There's a Christmas-themed pop-up bar opening in Montreal next month

Christmas is coming in hot.

Miracle Pop-Up will be opening a month-long Christmas bar in November, and if you aren’t in the holiday spirit, the goal is to get you there.

Miracle pops up at over 80 cities around the globe, partnering with local bars to inspire the Christmas cheer through festive decorations, quirky parties, ugly X-Mas sweaters, and of course, seasonal cocktails and grub.

In November, for the second year in a row, Miracle will join forces with The Coldroom to bring on the festive feels.

“The Coldroom is hosting Miracle for a second straight year,” The Coldroom’s owner Kevin Demers tells Daily Hive. “We don’t let it happen in our venues, however. So, we look for other venues to host this event in. It’s important for us to work with local businesses, brands, and charities to make this event as special as it can be.

“Last year we used Wolf and Workman‘s space for the month of December. This year we’re moving a block away.”

“The idea itself is an over the top Christmas. Think ugly Christmas sweaters, silly games, gingerbread house building, etc,” continued Demers.

This year’s popup will have a special cocktail menu provided by Miracle New York, offering sweeter cocktails, as well as a “Grinch” menu, which focuses on more bitter and sour drinks.

Miracle Montreal will also have a “small food menu,” focusing more on snacking than eating.

Miracle Montreal will be free to enter but Christmas-hopefuls are urged to show up early as last season had two hour line-ups, according to Demers.

“This year we’re trying to change that and make the experience a lot more pleasant for those waiting and those that are already inside,” concluded Demers.

From the Christmaspolitan to the Run Run Rudolf, Miracle Montreal is going to make sure to bring guests the holiest and jolliest of times, leading up to the big day.

Opening day is set for Friday, November 22, at the Sunset Lounge, and guests will have over a month to check out the pop-up as the fun eventually wraps up on December 26.
