Samuel De Champlain Bridge to remain rainbow-lit through the month

Jun 1 2020, 7:43 am

Te Samuel De Champlain Bridge will continue to show rainbow-colours of support to Montrealers and Canadians until the end of June.

Infrastructure Canada has announced the Champlain Bridge will light up every Sunday from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm until June 28.

Officials remind people to respect public health’s directives including the need to avoid gatherings.

“The Samuel De Champlain Bridge will continue to display its rainbowlights as a symbol of hope every Sunday evening in June to support Montreal area residents and all Canadians as restrictions are gradually being lifted across the country,” says Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities. “Continue to take care of yourselves, your loved ones and your community.”
