Check out what Céline Dion's final show in Las Vegas looked like (PHOTOS)

Céline Dion’s heart is going on.

After more than 15 years since the premiere of her first permanent Las Vegas show, the 51-year-old Quebec superstar has performed her last show at Caesars Palace.

This past Saturday, the singer concluded her second resident production, “Céline,” which first opened on the strip in March 2011.

Since then, Dion has performed 70 times a year, earned $500,000 per show, and appeared in front of 200,000 total spectators annually. Dion’s 427 shows worth of “Céline” had made the Quebecer the most profitable act in Las Vegas since Elvis Presley.

Combined with her first Vegas production, “A New Day” which ran from 2003 to 2007, Dion has performed 1,141 shows at Caesars Palace.

“I definitely have mixed emotions about this final run. Las Vegas has become my home and performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been a big part of my life for the past two decades,” said Dion on her website. “It’s been an amazing experience and I’m so grateful to all the fans who have come to see us throughout the years. Every show we do at the Colosseum throughout this fall, and right up until the final one, will feel very special.”

Dion has since announced that she has returned to the studio to record new music.

Fans of the superstar singer took to the virtual world to share pictures and videos of Dion’s historic final show.
