Habs fans were thrilled when Crave premiered The Rebuild: Inside The Montreal Canadiens this fall.
The eight-episode documentary series offered an exclusive look at the team’s ongoing rebuild, showcasing the highs and lows of the Canadiens’ 2023-2024 season. It also included plenty of behind-the-scenes moments from the NHL Draft, the team’s golf tournament, and the trade deadline.
Season 1, which debuted in September in both English and French, quickly became one of Crave’s most-watched French titles. According to a Bell Media release, it is the top Crave Original factual series since Crave became a bilingual TV and streaming service in 2020.
Luckily, fans of the hit show won’t have to wait too long for more.
On Monday, Crave confirmed that Season 2 is already on the way. New episodes are expected to drop ahead of the Canadiens’ 2025-26 campaign. The upcoming season promises an in-depth look at the Canadiens’ 2024-2025 season, highlighting the team’s evolution as fresh talent and new faces join the roster.
Unfortunately for viewers wanting a different ending this time around, the team hasn’t shown a ton of progress on the ice just yet, as they currently sit in last place in the NHL’s Atlantic Division.
Did you miss out on Season 1? You can catch it on TV. Its RDS debut is Friday, November 29, and an English version will air on TSN starting Saturday, November 30.
