Ever dream about living out your childhood Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fantasies?
Now you can! Sort of…
Cacao 70 is opening its doors to its Montreal chocolate factory on Richardson Street. Tickets are on sale now for the public tour and workshop showcasing Cacao 70’s signature chocolatey delights.
No golden tickets necessary. Just purchase your spot online ($15) for a tour of the chocolate making process and plenty of tasting at each stage of cacao production as well as sampling all the different types of chocolate bars made on site.
Following the tour, guests can check out the cafe area for chocolatey drinks or stick around for a workshop (additional $40) for the chance to learn tricks of the trade from artisanal chocolate makers as they demonstrate how to make a small batch chocolate at home.
