
An Amber Alert for two missing Quebec girls has ended after police found their bodies Saturday.
Quebec’s provincial police force, the Sûreté du Québec, tweeted Saturday that the alert was over after bodies believed to be Norah and Romy Carpentier were discovered earlier that day.

The girls’ fatherMartin Carpentier is still missing, according to the agency. Police are asking residents in the Saint-Agapit and Saint-Apollinaire areas to keep an eye out for him, and call 911 if he’s spotted.

The sisters were 11 and 6 years old and went missing Friday from the town of Lévis, south of Quebec City.
