The Montreal Canadiens beating the Colorado Avalanche in regulation may not have been the most surprising thing to take place at the Bell Centre on Monday night.

During stoppage time, between plays, in-game animator Michel Kunta appeared with the team’s secondary mascot on the jumbotron to introduce an especially passionate Canadiens fan to the crowd.

“I’m accompanied by Loulou, who is here along with METAL! for our ‘Mercredi METAL Mondays,'” Kunta said.

Upon revealing the woman’s age, Kunta also announced that she had gotten her very first tattoo, while at the Bell Centre.

“Loulou, at 82 years old, just got tattooed for the first time!” he declared to the delight of the more than 20,000 in attendance.

The tattoo in question? The hand of the Habs’ secondary mascot METAL!

Loulou, who was accompanied by METAL! for the unveiling, smiled and gave the Canadiens faithful a thumbs-up in a video published on the team’s website.

METAL! later shared photos of the woman getting the tattoo on the inside of her forearm done by an artist in the Bell Centre.

“Loulou got her first tattoo at 82 years young!!! Amazing,”

While we’re not sure what exactly prompted the woman to get her first bit of ink in her golden years, it’s clear that she is a true fan.

And despite what many Canadiens supporters proclaim, she really does bleed bleu, blanc, et rouge.
