Here are 6 events you have to check out this week for Montreal’s coolest summer festival:
Taking inspiration from both Africa and Montreal, musician No Kliche releases his new album, Mboka, at 11pm on Thursday night. There will be listening sessions between 11pm and midnight, followed by a DJ set from No Kliche himself. Plus, entry is free!

A giant barbecue is happening in the heart of the Plateau this week as part of Mural Festival. Ten restaurants will be grilling fresh and tasty dishes right before your eyes in the Main Zone of Mural Fest. Each dish will cost just $5 and there will be live music and drinks!
When: June 15 and 16, 11 am-9 pm

Experience the wonder of Montreal’s street art through a guided tour with the experts. Guided Tours of the Murals are a series of events taking place throughout the week. Tickets cost $15 each and tours are available in both English and French.

A major party is going down at Montreal nightlife staple, Tokyo. In honour of Mural Fest, Tokyo Bar’s Rooftop Terrasse will host seven DJs over the course of Saturday afternoon. From Lesk and RRKelly to MyFriendEric, this is one rooftop party not to be missed.

Ile Soniq is hosting a special block party just for Mural Fest. There will be electronic music, hip hop music, professional dancers, and the best part? Entry is free of charge!
