Have your own Love is Blind experience at a Mexican resort

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past two weeks, you have probably heard of the new reality show blowing up Netflix Love is Blind.

If you haven’t, let us summarize.

The premise is this: 15 guys and 15 girls live separately and only speak to each other through isolated ‘pods’ that do not allow them to see each other. Through talking, relationships start to form and, to qualify for the next round, contestants must propose to the ones they build relationships with to be eligible for the next stage.

Following the proposals, they all hang out together in Mexico for two weeks. It is only at this stage that they finally get to see each other and, potentially, knock boots.

After that, they move in together, meet each other’s parents and, after 38 days of being engaged — if they make it that long — they get married.

The show is an overarching commentary on the institution of marriage and whether or not aesthetics are a driving factor in relationships to determine whether or not Love is Blind.

Okay. It may not be that deep. But what we do know for sure is that the show pairs excellently with a glass of wine and two-bite brownies — don’t judge us.

Now, fans can have their own Love is Blind experience at the very same resort where the contestants spend two weeks ‘getting to know each other.’

The Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Mexico is encouraging fans to share the same experience as the contestants enjoyed at their resort with their exclusive Love is Blind Experience.
