An indoor trampoline park is offering virtual birthday parties for kids

SkyZone, a company that claims to be the inventor of the world’s first indoor trampoline park, wants to ease the minds of parents struggling to come up with an idea of how to celebrate their child’s birthday in quarantine through throwing them a virtual birthday party.

The virtual birthday party is entirely free, and the company takes over responsibility for organizational factors such as creating invitations and digital links for families to tune into, according to a press release.

In the virtual birthday party, a “Sky Zone Party Pro” will conduct 20 minutes of “active-play games and fun” with the Guest of Honour and partygoers to bring the birthday fun and celebrate without them even having to leave the house.

SkyZone park locations across the US and Canada are closed due to the ongoing pandemic. However, the company wants to ensure that kids still feel special and have fun on their birthdays with their friends and family.

“We’re thrilled to offer Sky Zone’s virtual birthday party experience as a safe and undeniably fun way to engage in active play at home,” Jeff Platt, president of Sky Zone Franchise Group, said in the release. “By bringing the popular Sky Zone birthday party experience online, we can continue helping families celebrate these special occasions while staying safe at home.”

Kids can participate and celebrate their virtual birthday party from Tuesday to Saturday between 3 and 9 pm EDT and can invite up to 10 friends.

If this sounds like something that your child — or someone you know — would be interested in, parents can conveniently email [email protected] with the necessary details, including their names, their child’s name, and contact information.

From there, a representative from SkyZone will contact them to confirm the booking and proceed with the next steps.
