From the Museum at Home page on the official website, users can choose from a selection of classes targeted at various skill levels from beginner to experienced, including video and music production classes as well as fascinating courses such as “Music of the Civil Rights Movement.”
Users can also watch footage of online exhibitions and discussions from the museum itself, including an exhibit on the history of the punk music movement in the United States as well as the historic relationship between baseball and music throughout the years.
The website also includes intimate interviews with diverse musicians and artists that the museum has hosted over its 12-year history.
Upcoming interviews include Billie Eilish and FINNEAS on April 1, Greta Van Fleet on April 4, and Kool and The Gang on April 6.
The Grammy Museum will continue to update its website with new lesson plans throughout April.
It will also integrate more electronic music and video production courses as well as some classes on various roles within the specific music video industry.
If you’re interested in taking a class, the Grammy Museum website has a full schedule of upcoming learning programs that you can participate in from home.
