Select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts will be permitted to open as of June 22 before the park’s opening on July 11.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will also reopen on June 22.

The reopening will take place with new sets of health and safety precautions and regulations in place.

“Before travelling to Florida, please make sure that you have reviewed any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to Florida,” the Disney World website explains. “Guests who are under isolation or quarantine orders must not enter Walt Disney World Resort.”

Visitors may also be subject to supplemental health screenings and are advised to conduct temperature checks for everyone in their travel party as an additional precaution, the site continues.

Guests must possess a confirmed room reservation to access hotels and have face coverings for individuals aged 2 and up. They must also have a park reservation and valid admission should they wish to enter the park once it is open.

It is also highly recommended that guests download the My Disney Experience app with location and notification services enabled and use cashless/contactless payment methods.

The establishments have implemented a variety of hygiene procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests once they arrive.

“When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, enjoy peace of mind knowing that your room will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and serviced during your stay,” the site explains. “Plus, common areas will receive enhanced cleaning.”

The select venues have increased sanitization and cleaning efforts for “high-traffic areas,” including elevators, handrails, escalators, tables, benches, and bathrooms.

On top of regular room cleanings and the sterilization of highly frequented areas, guests will also find wrapped glassware, double-cased pillows, and other items that have been cleaned and wrapped in single-use packaging.
