This December, Burger King is unveiling its “Delay Your Way” promotion and providing travellers with delayed flights a free Impossible Whopper burger to bring joy to their unfortunate circumstances.

Here are the delectable details.

Between December 18 and December 30, travellers at any US airport who download the BK app can punch in the information regarding their delayed flight on the “Delay Your Way” page.

Then, voila!

Once the information is processed, users will be provided with a voucher for a free meat-free burger to be claimed at any participating US Burger King location.

Depending on your stance on plant-based foods, this may or may not tickle your fancy.

But hey, free food is free food!

According to the press release, “The Impossible Whopper is 100% Whopper, 0% Beef, flame-grilled just like the original Whopper sandwich but with a patty made from plants and topped with freshly chopped lettuce, tomatoes and onions.”

The offer is limited to one burger per guest and is only redeemable for domestic US flights before departure.
