The seasons have officially turned over a new leaf with shorter days and cooler temps.

Don’t despair, dear Vancouverites. While we may have resigned to six months of rain, these upcoming cannabis events provide a little ray of light to get you out and about in the world.

Mental Health for (Cannabis and Non-Cannabis) Entrepreneurs 

What: Brought to you by Informed High and the Co Social, this course is geared toward entrepreneurs to help them develop practical tools and gather resources to help improve work-life balance, at both the personal and organizational levels. Learn how being clear on core values can provide the “glue” to coping and thriving as a cannapreneur, as well to avoid overwork and burnout, and develop resilience in the face of stress and adversity.

An Evening with John Conroy

What: The BC Independent Cannabis Association is hosting a fireside chat with famed cannabis lawyer John Conroy. Conroy has been active as a medical cannabis advocate and lawyer since the 1970s and has worked on high-profile cases such as Allard and Smith. This evening will be a chance to learn about cannabis legalization in Canada from one of the people who has been instrumental to its inception.

DOSED Documentary Premiere

What: Filmed in Vancouver, DOSED is an award-winning and controversial documentary about using illegal psychedelics to overcome depression, PTSD, anxiety, and addiction.

After the movie, there will be an in-depth question and answer period with Paul Stamets, Dennis McKenna and other heavyweights of the psychedelic research, and healing community.
