The best weed in Canada according to The Canadian Cannabis Awards
The Canadian Cannabis Awards presented by Lift Co. took place at a gala event at Toronto’s historic event space The Carlu on November 30 as it announced the 2017 winners in 75 cannabis-centred categories.
Honouring “plants, people, products and producers,” the event is aimed at helping to legitimize an already $8.7-billion ahead of nationwide legalization in 2018.
Among the big winners of the night, MedReleaf took home the honour of Top Licensed Producer and placed in 13 other categories including Customer Service, Compassionate Pricing, Packaging and numerous product categories
Meanwhile licensed producers, Peace Naturals, Aurora, Emblem, Hydropothecary, Organigram all took home multiple awards, and Tantalus Labs was named Most Promising.
The full list of winners is available online but we’ve rounded up some of this year’s winning consumer goods to help navigate Canada’s still emerging and increasingly overwhelming medicated marketplace.
