A new European restaurant is coming to Edmonton this fall
Edmonton can expect to welcome a new European-Ukrainian restaurant this year!
ZYMO is described as a European cuisine restaurant with a Ukrainian character. The new restaurant’s doors are not open yet, but we are definitely excited for this anticipated opening date coming up.
“Three years ago, we came to Canada, exhausted by the full-scale war,” reads ZYMO’s post on Instagram. “At first, we were simply trying to survive. But soon, we began to ask: What can we give back to the community that welcomed us so warmly?”
The team believes that even the most familiar dishes, like pizza or burgers, can be transformed with a Ukrainian soul into something special.
ZYMO is the team’s way of saying thank you to a community that has welcomed them with open arms, and we are sure ready to welcome this new restaurant in return.

Although the exact address is not yet known, we do know that the restaurant will be located in downtown Edmonton. For those of you living in the downtown core, you’re the lucky ones today.
The opening date was initially scheduled for mid-September, but it has now been delayed to mid-October. There is no official opening date for ZYMO, so stay tuned for more information.
This restaurant marks another grand restaurant opening in Edmonton; it’s an exciting time to be a foodie in the city!
