Edmonton's most popular farmers market is opening its own grocery store
Edmonton, are you ready for farmers market goods available almost every day of the week?
The Old Strathcona Farmers Market has officially introduced the Side Door, its own grocery store, located on the southeast corner of the iconic Old Strathcona Farmers Market site.
This market is a neighbourhood staple, and this new grocery store is not only a space for shopping but also a space for community. Its existence helps make supporting local part of your daily routine, bringing quality items right to you in your neighbourhood.

Throughout the week, you can pick up farm-fresh groceries and unique handcrafted goods, or even grab a bite to eat there!
“Grab a coffee or latte, enjoy a sandwich, or satisfy your sweet tooth while you shop groceries and goods from some of Alberta’s best farmers and artisans,” it says on its website.
Other products available will include sweets, pantry items, frozen goods, artisan goods, and even goods for your pets at home.
Doors are ready to be opened, and the highly anticipated official opening day is Oct. 7.
The Side Door will operate Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. That means you can get access to high-quality farmers market goods almost anytime you like, instead of waiting for the weekend.
