Edmonton is about to enjoy some seriously stunning daytime highs; however, the forecast is hinting at a big temperature drop early next week.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Edmonton is set to experience a temperature change of 23 Celsius degrees as we shift from the end of this work week into early next week.
The heat really starts to arrive today in YEG, with a gorgeous daytime high of 11ÂșC for Wednesday and it gets even better for Thursday and Friday, with highs of 13ÂșC and 16ÂșC, respectively.
Things start to flip a bit as we roll through the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday forecast to hold daytime highs of 6ÂșC and 3ÂșC, and overnight lows dipping below the freezing mark.
Don’t forget your jackets if you’re heading out Monday evening, as the temperature will drop to -7ÂșC overnight. Brrrrr!
When you do the math between the daytime high on Friday and the overnight low on Monday, it’s a difference of 23 Celsius degrees over just a few days.
