The UFC will be returning to Edmonton this fall, and we now know who will be on the fight card.

UFC Fight Night will take over Rogers Place on Oct. 17 and will feature a headlining welterweight matchup between Canadian Mike Mallot and American Joaquin Buckley. The 13th-ranked Mallot is looking to enter the top 10 of the UFC welterweight rankings.

A flyweight bout will headline the women’s card with Erin Blanchfield set to enter the Octagon against Canadian Jasmine Jasudavicius.

Mallot and Jasudavicius won’t be the only Canadians featured on the Edmonton fight card for the event, as more are scheduled to enter the Octagon in front of a raucous Rogers Place crowd.

For the men, lightweight Mandel Nallo will represent Canada with a bout against American Nate Landwehr earlier in the night. Quebecois middleweight fighter Marc-Andre Barriault will take on Pennsylvania native Kyle Daukaus, and Edmonton’s own Tanner Boser will headline the heavyweight matchup against Brazilian fighter Jhonata Diniz.

Montreal native Louis Jourdain will also feature on the card, with a bantamweight bout against Las Vegas’ Timmy Cuamba.

On the women’s card, B.C’s Jamey-Lyn Horth will enter the Octagon against New York native Katlyn Cerminara in a flyweight bout, while Calgary’s Melissa Croden will line up against American bantamweight fighter Chelsea Chandler.

Tickets for UFC Fight Night in Edmonton are set to go on sale this Friday, Aug. 14.

This will be the first UFC event to take place in the Alberta capital since 2024, when over 16,000 fans packed Rogers Place to watch a headlining flyweight bout between Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi.

It will also represent the fourth time that the UFC has come to Edmonton, with previous events being held in 2019 and 2017.
