UFC returning to Edmonton and here's how to get tickets

The UFC will be returning to Edmonton for the first time in nearly two years.

It was announced on Saturday that Rogers Place will be hosting a UFC Fight Night event on Saturday, Oct. 17. It marks the first UFC event in Edmonton since November 2024, which saw a Fight Night card headlined by a flyweight bout between Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi.

The event, which will be held at Rogers Place, will mark the fourth-ever UFC event hosted in Edmonton. The first two events were UFC 240 in 2019, as well as UFC 215 back in 2017. All three prior events, including UFC 246 in November of 2024, were also hosted at Rogers Place.

No fights have been announced for the upcoming event just yet, with the UFC having only finalized its fights through late August. Tickets have yet to go on sale, but fans can register their interest online for exclusive early access to tickets.

Those who miss this early registration will be able to purchase their seats via Ticketmaster.

This continues an uprise in UFC events taking place in Canada. Edmonton now ties Vancouver with two events since 2023, while Toronto, Montreal, and Winnipeg have all gotten one over that same span.

These Edmonton bouts have clearly been successful for the UFC, hence why it is returning to Alberta’s capital city. While it may be another few years before another event, it’s clear that president and CEO Dana White enjoys having Rogers Place serve as a host.
