Tkachuk disrespects McDavid during Florida Panthers' wild night out in Miami strip club

The Edmonton Oilers seem to keep picking up losses this week, even after falling to the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final.

While the Oilers did have a pair of overtime wins in the series, they were mostly outclassed by the defending champs, being outscored 28-17 and dropped 6-1 on the road in Florida in the clinching Game 6 on Tuesday night.

And the Panthers don’t want to let them forget that.

On Thursday night (and into the wee hours of Friday morning), the Panthers hit the town at E11EVEN, a strip club (and nightclub) located in downtown Miami.

And the Oilers weren’t exactly getting the nicest treatment from their back-to-back Stanley Cup rivals, at what looked like a full-capacity event with the team’s stars, media members and fans all coming out to party with the Stanley Cup champions — and the trophy itself.

“Connor McDavid WHO?” Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk yelled out at one point in the night, with a microphone in one hand and a drink in the other.

McDavid finished the series with seven points across six games, but was limited to just one goal.

Following the three-word prompt from the Panthers star, the crowd in attendance came back with a chant of “F*ck McDavid! F*ck McDavid!”

That’s now three Stanley Cup Final appearances in three years for Tkachuk since his trade to the Panthers from the Calgary Flames in 2022.

Tkachuk also got on the microphone to sing a rendition of “Pink Pony Club,” the Chappell Roan track that became a rally cry for the Oilers.

While Tkachuk was on the microphone, fellow Panthers forward Brad Marchand was in the depths of the crowd, lifting up the Stanley Cup in the middle of the club.

Marchand also made the most of his night out, trolling just about every team in the NHL on his Instagram stories before the team made their way to E11EVEN.

While Oilers fans may not be thrilled about seeing these types of videos, they can only hope that their team will lift the Cup themselves next year and write the rules for the kind of party they’d like to have.
