SkirtsAFire Festival

What: Celebrating its 14th year, SkirtsAfire spotlights the creative brilliance of women artists! Throughout 10 days of engaging and entertaining performances and experiences, you can be entertained and inspired by theatre, music, dance, comedy, visual art, spoken word, workshops, design, and more. This creative festival takes place in a variety of venues across South Central Edmonton.

Go ice skating

What: Lace up those skates and wear your warmest winter jacket. Skating with these 6 p.m. sunsets is perfect, and there are several spots across Edmonton you can go to. It’s some of the best fun you can have for free in the city.

After Hours at Muttart: The Cacao Conservatory

What: Head to the beloved Muttart Conservatory for an enchanting evening with Jacek Chocolate Couture, featuring an engaging talk on all things chocolate, followed by a tasting of their exquisite creations. Café Bloom will serve chocolate-inspired canapés and drinks, while guests take in the magic of the pyramids at night with guided tours and a live musical performance.

What: Right in the heart of downtown, the Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) has been Edmonton’s go-to for art and culture for 100 years. With rotating exhibitions, workshops, and events, it’s the perfect spot to get inspired, learn something new, or just soak up some creativity.

Edmonton Craft Beer Festival
