Much-loved Toronto burger restaurant to open new Edmonton location

A popular Toronto burger spot is gearing up to open its first location in Edmonton soon.
Rosie’s Burgers, a neighbourhood joint known for its smash burgers, is making its way to Edmonton’s Brewery District, where it will be opening at 11928 104th Ave. NW.
An opening date has not yet been announced, but the restaurant is holding a giveaway contest in celebration of the upcoming location, with three $100 gift cards up for grabs.
“HEY, EDMONTON! It’s about time for burgers… stay tuned for opening day deets,” the post reads.

The popular spot offers eats such as smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, poutine, and onion rings.
For those looking for a sweet treat, it even serves up housemade banana pudding, chocolate chip cookies, and handspun milkshakes in a variety of flavours.
Founded by Daniel, Dustin, and Bryan Gelman in 2020 and named after their beloved grandmother, Rosie’s has opened outposts across Ontario and Halifax.
Rosie’s Burgers made its first venture out west in 2025, with three locations in Calgary, including its newest location in the city’s Marda Loop neighbourhood that opened earlier this year.
