Taylor Swift rubs shoulders with Wayne Gretzky at Stanley Cup Final
It’s not often that Wayne Gretzky isn’t the biggest star at an NHL event.
But that was the case Thursday night in Florida, as Taylor Swift made an unexpected appearance at the Stanley Cup Final.
Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, showed up Amerant Bank Arena in time to see the Edmonton Oilers take on the Florida Panthers in Game 4.
They reportedly arrived by helicopter and watched the game from a private suite.
Gretzky recently showed his age by admitting that he had no idea who or what “Pink Pony” was recently.
But does the 64-year-old Great One know Taylor Swift?
Of course he does.
“I know her. I don’t know Pink Pony, but I know her,” Gretzky said on the TNT broadcast in the United States.

Not only does Gretzky know Swift, it appears he met her. Gretzky was photographed next to Swift and Kelce while watching the game in their suite.
