A Super Smash Bros. tournament is taking place next weekend
The Ultimate Super Smash Bros. tournament is taking place in Edmonton next weekend. Video game experts and amateurs alike will have a chance to play the game and win cool prizes.
Pure Canadian Gaming and Fragapalooza are hosting the “Level Up E-Sports Tournament” at the Pearl Showroom inside Pure Casino Yellowhead on November 9 and 10.
The stakes are high, with $10,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, and players must be 18+ to enter.
While the Super Smash Bros. tournament is the main tournament, there will also be side tournaments such as the Forza Horizon 4 and Classic Arcade Game: Galaga Tournaments.
Whether you’re playing as a single or in a duo, you can register in advance online to take advantage of early-bird rates.
This weekend-long tournament lets you battle it out as your favourite characters, and if you manage to smash your way through the competition, you just might walk away with the top prize.
