Porter Airlines is adding a new nonstop route between Edmonton, Alta., and London, Ont., starting next spring.

The year-round service will operate seven times weekly beginning May 6, 2027, connecting YEG with London International Airport (YXU).

Porter will operate the route using its 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. In addition to no middle seat, passengers will enjoy all the other familiar Porter perks, including complimentary beer and wine, premium snacks, and free Wi-Fi on the flights.

“Porter’s new non-stop service to London is another strong signal of the airline’s confidence in Edmonton,” said Myron Keehn, president and CEO of Edmonton International Airport.

“The route links two thriving regions and creates new opportunities for business and travel between Southwest Ontario and the Edmonton region.”

The Edmonton-London route is part of Porter’s plan to add five new domestic routes from YXU next spring, with service also to Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver.
