Odd Burger in Edmonton is closing one of its two locations within the city this month.

Having opened in 2024, the plant-based chain offers a variety of fast-food options, from burgers and wraps to salads and desserts. Odd Burger has been expanding across Canada in recent years, with locations in Alberta and restaurants across Ontario, Saskatchewan, and B.C.

As one of the only plant-based fast-food options in the country, it quickly gained popularity for its extensive menu and delicious dishes.

In the past couple of months, Odd Burger has been closing many locations across the country. This is now extending to Edmonton, and it has just announced the closing of its Mayfield Common location.

The last day this restaurant will be serving guests is June 28. After this, folks will have to trek all the way to the south side if they’re having a craving for these plant-based treats.

“Thank you to every guest who supported us, visited us, and shared meals with us along the way,” reads the team on Instagram. “We are truly grateful for the love and memories.”

Apologies to all the vegans and vegetarians out in the city, you’ll need to find a new fast-food spot to get some plant-based eats.
