Ring in the new decade with a family-friendly New Year’s eve right in the heart of Downtown Edmonton.

You can enjoy an alcohol-free New Year’s Eve, with activities and fireworks for the entire family at the Alberta Legislature.

Activities for the whole family will start at 7 pm inside the Federal Building and Legislature pedways, including live music, roving performers, games, crafts, new art installations and much more.

There will also be live performances outdoors on the Capital Plaza by The Tsunami Brothers, Jenesia and Tyler Shaw. Food trucks will also be located on 99 Avenue, between 107 Street and 108 Street.

The fireworks are set to start around 9 pm, and the best viewing place is from the Capital Plaza and in front of the Alberta Legislature locations
