Edmonton Public Schools confirmed one more coronavirus case Friday afternoon at a school in the southeast end of the city.
One person from Millwoods Christian School tested positive for the virus on September 18, the district said in a statement.
As a result, 31 students from a Grade 10 class plus two staff members need to stay home and self-isolate for 14 days.

“The school will be contacting students and families to arrange supports for learning while they are required to isolate at home,” the district said. “At this time, we do not have more information about what these learning supports may entail.”
This is the fifth school coronavirus case the district announced Friday, the same day in-school transmission was confirmed at Waverley elementary school.
