Fans wanting the chance to meet their favourite Edmonton Oilers players will have the opportunity to do so later this month.
The Oilers first started doing this fun fan event back in 2011. Once again, the event will be returning to West Edmonton Mall, where Oilers players will be seated to sign autographs and have a quick interaction with fans.
The autograph session will take place on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be various stations set up throughout the mall for fans to get in line to meet their favourite players.
Fans attending the event should note that there are a number of different rules to follow, including that each individual is only allowed one autograph per player. There will also be no posed photograph opportunities.
As has been the case for several years, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl will have their own autograph stations. The first 300 fans in line at the two respective stations will be guaranteed access to their tables. Fans should also note that McDavid will only be signing custom Upper Deck photos, which will be provided at the table.
It’s been a bit of a disappointing start to the 2025-26 season for the Oilers, who sit at 6-5-4 through their first 15 games of the season. That said, slow starts are nothing new for this group, and they will soon have a big reinforcement in Zach Hyman back in the lineup.
Hyman has yet to play in 2025-26 after suffering a fractured wrist in last season’s Western Conference Final versus the Dallas Stars. The 33-year-old has yet to be cleared, but is expected to be back in the lineup in the very near future.
