A new romantic Spanish restaurant is opening up in Edmonton's Manchester Square

Edmonton’s got a new Spanish restaurant coming just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Mayte is Edmonton’s newest Spanish restaurant, perfect for the most romantic date night, located right in Manchester Square. This restaurant focuses on paella, tapas, and wine, operating as a family-owned restaurant with authentic recipes passed down from generation to generation.
If you haven’t been to Manchester Square before, it’s a European getaway in the middle of Edmonton, with string lights and a gorgeous view. This is one of the best spots this restaurant could’ve opened, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Currently, the restaurant is open at this moment for you to sample the menu, but it’s holding its official grand opening on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day.

The big thing to eat here is the delicious paella, a rice dish common in Spanish cuisine, most notably in the Valencian Community.
You can get a giant pan of paella, which feeds four to six people, or a smaller size, which feeds two to three. The types you can get include seafood, chicken and chorizo, rabbit and chicken, as well as a vegetarian option.
If you’re looking for something romantic and food-focused for this upcoming Valentine’s Day, this just might be your spot.
We’re thrilled and looking forward to checking out this new space, and especially trying the authentic, flavourful dishes of Spanish cuisine. If you’re in the area, we’d definitely recommend stopping by.
