The Edmonton Oilers are feeling quite good after punching their ticket to the Western Conference Final for the second straight season.
They were able to do so in a much easier fashion than most had envisioned, eliminating the Vegas Golden Knights in just five games on Wednesday night. It served as revenge of sorts, as the Golden Knights were able to send the Oilers packing after a second-round series victory two years prior.
One current member of the Oilers who was a part of that team in 2023 was Evander Kane. The 33-year-old had a viral moment from that series in which he was pictured blowing a kiss to an angered Golden Knights fan. Though that fan got the last laugh two years ago, it was Kane laughing this time, and he made sure to get his payback.

It’s been quite the playoff run for Kane, who was forced to miss the entire regular season due to injury. Any concern about potential rust is long gone, as he’s been superb with four goals and seven points through 10 games.
Kane has also gotten plenty of attention for his flashy pregame entrances, as he’s arrived at several outings in some very luxurious vehicles. With the Oilers now off to the Western Conference Final, fans should expect to see more of the same from him over the next few weeks.
