Homicide detectives investigating "suspicious" death of 35-year-old woman
Edmonton Police homicide detectives are investigating the “suspicious death” of a 35-year-old woman who was found deceased this week.
According to police, on Wednesday, November 13, at approximately 6:45 am, “police were called to the area of 133 Avenue and 140 Street on the report of a deceased female.”
When officers arrived, they found a woman deceased outside the property.
The woman has now been identified as Rebecca Hunter.
An autopsy was conducted on Thursday, November 14, 2019, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
“The cause of death is not being released at this time pending further medical testing. Investigators continue to treat the death as suspicious,” police said in a release.
