Edmonton International Airport is getting a new Hilton hotel

Travellers flying through YEG will soon have two more hotel options, with a dual-brand Hilton development on the way to Edmonton International Airport.
Edmonton-headquartered Fillmore Construction has announced it was selected by K5 Investment Group to build the new Hilton dual-brand hotel, which will bring a Hilton Garden Inn and extended-stay Home2 Suites by Hilton together at the airport.
Plans for the development were shared in February 2026 as part of a federal impact assessment. The proposed hotel will feature 168 total guest suites, including 56 standard king rooms, 44 standard double queen rooms, and 68 extended-stay suites.
