Heavy police presence deployed for "unfolding incident" in Woodlands County

RCMP are alerting the public of an unfolding incident in Woodlands County, and are asking residents to avoid the area.

According to a statement from Whitecourt RCMP, “there is a heavy police presence in the area of Blue Ridge in Woodlands County between Township Road 594 and 592 near Range Road 102 outside Whitecourt.”

RCMP are asking that the public avoid the area, and refrain from posting photos and/or video on social media.
