There is no shortage of fantastic golf courses across Canada, and a new ranking of the country’s best includes three courses in the Edmonton region.
ScoregolfĀ has unveiled its 2026 list of Canada’s top 100 golf courses, with Blackhawk, Royal Mayfair, and The Old Course at Wolf Creek all making the cut.
This is the 20th edition of the list since it was launched in 1988. A volunteer panel ranked courses on nine factors, with fun factor weighed most heavily at 20 per cent.
Beauty, design, challenge, and strategy each made up 15 per cent, while conditioning and quality of the par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes were each worth five per cent.
Blackhawk Golf Club was the highest-ranked course in the Edmonton region, landing at 20.
The ranking described the course as spectacular.
