There’s a new all-you-can-eat KBBQ restaurant in Edmonton that’s come all the way from Calgary.

Gogi Korean BBQ is the newest addition to Edmonton’s list of all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots, with grilled meats, classic Korean flavours, and an unlimited amount of barbecue options for you to enjoy. Its doors are officially open up north, and we’re ready to dive right in.

Currently, Gogi Korean BBQ operates four Calgary locations, one being Gogi Kitchen, and this Calgary Trail location in Edmonton marks its first up north.

Gogi Korean BBQ opened the doors to this new location in Edmonton this January, kicking off the new year with a bang.

To celebrate the opening, the restaurant has a few promotions going on.

First off, if you join Gogi’s free membership program, you can receive 10 per cent off your order until Jan. 15. Or, if you leave a Google review, you can receive a popsicle within an instant.

As for the menu and restaurant itself, it operates like your average Korean BBQ restaurant.

All-you-can-eat menu options start at $29.50 for lunch and go up depending on the time of day and add-ons. For kids between the ages of five and 10, it’s half price, and for children under five, the KBBQ is free.

The all-you-can-eat menu includes access to 14 appetizers, 14 cuts of meat, the salad bar, and banchan. Soups are an extra charge, as are some select items.

No takeout is allowed, however, and keep this in mind if you’re planning to order a lot. Each plate with leftovers will be a charge of $15, and takeout containers are not provided.

If you’re a fan of the classic Korean BBQ flavours, Gogi is definitely a place to put on your radar.
